Plant-dyed clothing
Summary: Due to the plant dyeing, 1) wash clothes separately to avoid discoloration 2) hand wash and 3) dry flat in the shade.
Our clothes are handwoven and plant-dyed. This gives them a special look and a unique feel.
However, it also means that appropriate care is required. Therefore, we recommend that you always wash the clothes by hand, use mild detergent and dry them flat in the shade.
This will protect the fibers and the natural color. Ironing and dry cleaning are strongly discouraged.
Also, wash clothes separately as the natural plant dye can bleed.
Glasses
The glasses are microwave and dishwasher safe. Please remember, however, that intense temperature changes can cause thick-walled glass (glasses, carafes) to crack. A hot glass, e.g. fresh from the dishwasher, should therefore not be filled with ice-cold water.

copper
Note on copper lamps: The copper parts of our lamps will, as is normal for copper, darken over time. This is due to the natural reaction between copper and oxygen.
All of our copper lamps are polished to ensure a long life. Turn off the lamp and let it cool for about 15 minutes. DO NOT use any cleaning products on the copper. Some cleaning products can discolor the copper, so use a dry rag to dust the lamp. Please DO NOT use water or cleaning products.
Glass
Use a dry cloth to dust or a towel slightly dampened with window cleaner to clean the lampshade.
volume
Use a dry cloth to dust or a slightly damp cloth with clean water to clean the lampshade. DO NOT use any cleaning products on the clay.
Braided lamps
For lamps made of natural fibers, use a dry cloth to dust. Please DO NOT use water or detergent.
Decoration and hammocks
Products such as pompoms, macramés and baskets can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Please only wash the hammocks by hand with cold, clear water and dry them lying down in the shade. If possible, only clean the dirty areas.
In addition, the maximum weight of the hammock is 120kg.
Bally & Bally Furniture
To clean, wipe the surfaces with a slightly damp sponge or cloth and then dry. Please do not use detergent. It dissolves the oil and washes it out, making the wood dull, matte and susceptible to dirt.
Do not leave water standing and use coasters for hot or wet objects. This also applies to flower pots, which diffuse moisture from the bottom. For water stains, we recommend using a wood care oil (e.g. from Complex).
For small scratches and stubborn stains, you can lightly sand the affected area with a fine grain and then polish it with a hard oil or hard oil wax (does not have to be from Complex).
If you have tannic acid stains or greying (usually on oak), there are special products available. Ask your local retailer for more information or contact us.
